Last Carlos Beach Report of the Season

Updated: Oct 15, 2022

The skimmers have continued to disperse in the last week, my recent count was only about 30 adults and two juveniles, all by the tide pool.

And in more good news: All of the signs have been removed from Carlos Beach for the season!

I hope you get to enjoy some of the fantastic migrating and wintering birds that visit Carlos Beach in the coming months. The photo here is from local photographer Gail Reid Campbell, who frequents Carlos Beach and appreciates the diversity of birds we have.

I would like to express my appreciation to Sharon, Rafael, Bill and Will Perry, and Chadd for all of your help, support, and communication--it really made a difference!
