Hickory Swamp Preserve

 A preserve with an active cattle lease, this preserve has undergone initial invasive exotic plant removal efforts leaving the natural mesic and hydric hammocks and mesic flatwoods. After we've hiked the preserve, we will go across the street to Natives of Corkscrew Nursery where we will be able to view, and maybe purchase, native Florida plants for sustainable landscapes.
