Please join us for our first in-person, post-pandemic Annual Meeting!
Amy Bennett Williams is best-known in Southwest Florida as an engaging storyteller and journalist, comfortable writing about local characters and heroes; history; flora and fauna; environment issues; the animals who share her life in Alva; and everything in-between. Her column “Field Notes” is a favorite of News-Press readers and appears in Tropicalia, the magazine she conceived to celebrate Southwest Florida. She is author of two books, Fort Myers: City of Palms, A Contemporary Portrait and Along the Caloosahatchee River.
Join us for a free dinner, with meat and vegetarian options, Amy Bennett Williams' presentation, our Environmentalist of the Year Award, our FGCU Scholarship Announcement, a chapter history display, the election of new board members and officers, and socializing.
We welcome contributions to our "dessert table," always a popular feature of the event!
RSVP to audubon.southwest.florida@gmail.com, mentioning “Annual Dinner” in the subject line.
